This research project explores how social media shapes public perceptions of rodeo and animal welfare, particularly among young adults. As fewer individuals have direct experience with agriculture, platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook play a key role in influencing opinions through emotionally driven content. Using survey data from college students, this study examines how different types of content impact attitudes, stereotypes, and trust in agricultural practices, offering insights for more effective communication within the industry.

Journalistic Writing

A feature story exploring the role of patience and trust in rodeo, told through personal interviews and firsthand experiences. This piece highlights the connection between riders and their horses while showing how those lessons extend beyond the arena.

Montage

This fun little montage tells the story of my donkey, who was absolutely determined to go for a ride with my horse. It’s a short, lighthearted video that shows just how much he wanted to tag along — and how funny their friendship can be.

Short Documentary

A 7-minute documentary that follows my whole trip to the National FFA Convention. It includes interviews with different students, captures the excitement of the event, and shows the special moment when I received my American Degree.
